The neighboring city of Louisville had an event called Touch-a-Truck a couple of weekends ago. It sounded like the perfect thing for our boys, so we headed over to check it out. As we were walking up and the boys started really seeing all the trucks and hearing horns honking they got really excited. There were so many different kinds of trucks there that we didn't get to go in all of them, but we certainly went in a lot. To name a few there were firetrucks (pumper and ladder with the ladder up), ambulance, garbage truck, flatbed, big rig, moving, short bus, city bus, school bus, extra long bus, dump truck, snow plows, tractors, and various "diggers." The boys liked to pretend to drive them and especially to honk the horns. It was a hot day and there were lots of people there, but it was so fun!

They also got to help firemen put out a pretend fire on a cut out house.

Zach got to help paint this one, too. Too bad it was covered by the time we got to it.

Now that seems like heaven for boys! How cool!
