White Christmas

We woke up Christmas morning to lots of beautiful snow, and it kept snowing most of the day. How fun! The opening of presents proved to be a bit overwhelming for Zach, but he enjoyed the first part of the morning, and then had fun riding around the house in the fancy new baby backpack we got.

It was time to start Zachie on some "real" food, so we thought we'd go straight for the good stuff. Diet Coke with Lime. Just kidding. He did love the soda cans... We started him on rice cereal and he has done really well. He is very helpful.

Zach had his 4 month check-up yesterday morning. Even though he had his shots, he was still happy enough for me to get some good pics. (unlike his 2 mo. shots- he would randomly burst into really sad cries all day! So sad!). He weighed 13lbs. 11oz. and is 26 inches! So big! Okay, I know he's still really little, but he seems so big to me. And who can resist those big eyes?

What has happened to December??

I'm realizing that it has almost been a month since our last post. Weird. (sorry) We were all sick after Thanksgiving, and then I guess we've been busy (like everyone else this time of year!)... Calvin is done with his crazy semester and we have been enjoying some time together. Luckily next semester is his last and he'll only have 2 classes- and one is online. It will be so nice to have him home more! Anyways, here are some pictures from this month...

This was a GORGEOUS sunset one evening- we just caught the end of it on camera. There was this huge wall of clouds, and everything else was just glowing. Beautiful!!

3 Months Old!!!

Well, it's hard to believe but Zachie is 3 months old already. He is growing up way too fast. He is so smiley and "talkative", blowing bubbles, rolling onto his side, and loves to play with his hands. He is just finding his feet and it is so funny because he leans over to grab them, but is a little top heavy and starts to tip over (until I catch him). He is just getting to be more and more fun!

Happy Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we trekked back to Reno once again. We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving feast with the Gabbarts, and Christmas tree chopping the next day. You can see us all in our cheesy chopping poses... Yes, I look a little large... I had Zach in the Baby Bjorn but it was pretty cold and Peter was a gentleman and gave us his coat. (thanks Peter!!)

Happy Birthday Cal!

This last Saturday was Calvin's birthday. We went to lunch with my family, then watched the Nuggets game (of course). Cal and Zach both wore their Nuggets attire that they received for the occassion. The Nuggets had to come back from 25 behind to win, just for Cal.
