Winter Park
As is tradition for our family, we headed up in the mountains near Winter Park with my parents to cut our Christmas trees. It was a beautiful perfect day and we had a lot of fun as always. We went to a little bit different area this time and it was nice to be away from the crowds and where the trees were less picked over.
Zach trying on some snow gear before we left.
Heading up a trail.
Austin did really well riding on the sled. I was surprised he lasted so long on it. Zach rode it a bit too, but he loves to tromp through the snow.
One way to get a ride...
Our tree.
Tuckered out.
My parents' tree. I think these are our best trees ever! They are fluffy and beautiful.

3-2-1...
While in Reno we had some fun shooting off Estes rockets. The boys of the family especially enjoyed it. We just walked down around the corner to this field. There was plenty of tinkering to be done.
Plenty of cameras.
And plenty of launches.
Waiting...
A little gravel swimming.
Recovering the launched rockets.
And because it was SO fun, they even bought a new rocket and Zach and Grandad worked on it together.
Concentration.
There was even a little stomp rocket Austin could use.
So, you see, there really were a lot of rockets. What fun!
And no trip to Reno is complete without Zach doing some serious cleaning up with the shop vac. He loves that thing!
