Last weekend I was lucky enough to meet up with 4 of my wonderful friends from our freshman year at BYU. I left Zachie for the first time (he and Cal did great, by the way) and took off to Dallas! We met up there since, strangely, Cynthia and Alycia live there. Megan and I got there Friday afternoon and that night we enjoyed some southern cookin' at a popular restraunt named Babe's. It was the first of some truly Texas experiences.

Did I mention that everything really is bigger in Texas? TONS of food!
(Katie and Cynthia at Sam Moon)
Saturday we picked up Katie from the airport and headed to a store called Sam Moon. It is a HUGE accessories store (jewelry and purses...). Pretty fun. I think the best part (besides being with my friends) was seeing the crazy women shoppers!
That afternoon we headed to Ft. Worth to see the longhorns herded down the street. The lady next to me was complaining that she couldn't stand closer (ie: in the street). I was happy just on the sidewalk.

Then we walked to a fantastic mexican restraunt that was all outdoors in a beautiful courtyard with fountains and plants... Again TONS of food!

After a LATE night up talking, Sunday morning Lee made us yummy waffles with ice cream, hot fudge, and strawberries. This was a treat we had together freshman year (talk about freshman 15! just kidding, I don't think any of us gained 15 lbs., thankfully). Can you tell we love food??

It was such a wonderful weekend and I feel so lucky to have such wonderful friends!!! I wish we lived closer, but hopefully we can all see each other again before another 6 years pass!!
Love you girls!
