At the end of July we decided very last minute to go on the ward campout. We had a lot of fun and I'm glad we made it. Oddly, we drove AWAY from the mountains to camp. We went to the Pawnee National Grasslands, way northeast of us. It was different than mountain camping, and actually kind of nice for the kids to run around.
They ran around in a herd, happy to explore and play together.
A highlight of the trip was that the boys both fell asleep without having to be driven around in the car. Yay!
